Job Details:

  • The analysis, decision-making, and documentation activities shall be developed with assistance and input from key DARS management and technical and other parties deemed appropriate by DARS IR.

  • Technical Project Management for the ReHabWorks software module: Work with the DARS IR Application Development & Support Team to specify, develop, deliver, test, and deploy the Performance Measures software application. This application shall adhere to DARS IR standards utilizing the DARS standardized architecture.

     This is a part-time position with a commitment of approximately 10 – 15 hours per week.                  

Worker Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as Project Manager over teams developing complex applications using standard PM industry practices such as PMI’s framework. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Experience managing information technology project scope and work plans, tracking budgets, schedules, and deliverables via appropriate metrics, directing corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Web based Java applications.
  • Experience documenting risks and developing mitigation plans. Identifying, tracking, and ensuring resolution of issues and removal of barriers.
  • Experience in designing applications, including defining Object model, Business Interfaces, Object Database Interaction.
  • Experience with a complete life cycle development, including migration issues, of an Enterprise Java application is required.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Clear, concise, effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • PM work developing case management systems in the public sector with specific experience in case worker performance metrics.

  • MBA with PMI certification preferred.
