Worker Skills and Qualifications:

  1. The services of the Worker(s) will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  2. Obtain consensus, manage, design and implement Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework(s) working with all Information Technology (IT) Division departments and business areas.
  3. Facilitate the review and assessment of current SDLC phases and deliverable templates with all IT departments and business areas.
  4. Create comprehensive SDLC phases and deliverable templates for Internet and mainframe development and maintenance projects (small, medium and large).
    • Include description of recommended tasks, techniques if applicable, and related control objectives for effective management for each SDLC phase
    • Work with the Quality Control Manager to include tasks and techniques for unit, integration, usability, accessibility, parallel, regression, performance, system and user acceptance testing.
    • Identify and document requirements gathering tasks and techniques (e.g., Use Case Analysis) for business analysts and developers.
    •  Mentor business analysts and developers on requirements gathering techniques.
    • Define and document a technique for SDLC enhancements.
  5. Facilitate the adoption of the SDLC.
    • Other Duties as assigned.
    • Schedule, manage and report activities and progress to achieve planned dates.
    • Work under limited supervision.
    • Manage multiple projects.
    • Use team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with formal SDLC and Project methodologies and the software project deliverables and their purpose.
  • Facilitation and management of enterprise-wide projects.
  • Use of two or more SDLC frameworks/methodologies.
  • Creation or customization of SDLC frameworks/methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the following technical areas: DB2, Java, Internet Applications, batch and web services interfaces, mainframe batch applications, Natural, CICS.
  • Development and execution of testing strategies.
  • Managing software development life cycle (SDLC) implementation.
